Heman Lock This 1500-2000 gallon pond is a true water garden, featturing a 30' stream and waterfall with a 3' drop for sound, which does not drop directly into the pond to aviod disturbing the water lilies. Other water plants include iris, cattail, lotus and various rushes. Pond inhabitants include golden orfe, catfish and a turtle. Filtration is a PondSweep skimmer and BioFalls, Powered by a 4900 gph pump. Donna Jensen Enjoy a stroll along the path through this beautiful Terraced perennial garden landscape incorporating a streambed with three waterfalls and a walking bridge, leading to aprox. 16000-20000-gallon pond,which is home to Japanese and Domestic Koi, bull frogs, water plants, including cattails, iris, parrot's feather and 55 assorted water lilies. The pond is 4 1/2' at its deepest, and water circulates via two large pumps. This mature pond was hand dug, designed and installed by co-sponsor Lingeren Landscape, and incorporates a nice mix of river and moss rock. Susan Amador A lovely established approx. 1000 gallon main pond with a stream flowing to a lower pool, both stocked with large Koi, goldfish, catfish, and assortment of plants, including marsh betony, arrowhead, iris, marsh marigold, and water rhubarb. Filtration incorporates a PondSweep skimmer, Ultima II filter and UV. Mature landscaping, all the personal touches and the way the pond is situated makes this an ideal "private retrete" just inviting you to sit and relax.
Province Homes This stop features a wonderful example of a Just-A-Falls disappearing waterfall at the entry of the home. It is a small kit with a 2900 gph submersible pump. Enjoy the lovely landscaping and soothing sound of the waterfall!! This feature was constructed and installed in December 2000 by co-sponsor Buckhorn Landscape Services.
Greg & Nancy Colley Feast your senses with this combination of Three established and new water features! Feature 1 has upper and middle pools cascading into a 3,800 gallon lower pond constructed from over 300 yards of dirt and 90 tons of granite boulders. The 52" deep lower pond is filtered by two EasyPro skimmers and an Aqua Ultravilolet Ultima II 4,000 filter. Two F&Q submersible pumps, each supply 18,900 gph water flow. Feature 2 is an impressive 70' diappearing stream iriginating at the back porch. Feature 3, the newest addition, is a 10' deep, 1/2 acre pond with two streambeds and a waterfall. Three F&Q 18,900 gph pumps circulate water through three EasyPro large skimmers with 4" bottom drains. One system runs through a 60' long bog filtration system. At the Colley ponds, view an incrdible assortment of waterplants including lilies, iris, cattails, bog bean, obedient plant, lavender musk, lizard tail, varigated celery, strawberries and cream ribbon grass, sedge, creeping jenny, and much more! The "small pond" has koi and golden orfe. The large pond will be stocked with trout. This feature was constructed by Stone Creek Enviroments.
Linda Wild This 8,000-10,000 gallon pond was constructed in Agust of 2006 and is powered by a Tsurumi submersible pump and filtered by a Big Sister filter and Biofalls filter. Black moss rock frames this home to koi, goldfish and toads. Plants include lilies and iris.
Paul & Diane Barwis This impressive 6,000 gallon pond is 20'x12'x5' deep. It has a 40' river that drops over 5 falls, powered by a 12,000 gph centrifugal pump and a 5,900 gph submersible pump. The pond is filtered by an EasyPro skimmer, an Ultima II 2,000 filter and an Aqua Ultroviolet 80 watt UV. There are numerous plants and 20 koi of various sizes. This feature was constructed by co-sponsor Serene Scenery Landscaping.
